Kind Space is a community centre in Ottawa – unceded Algonquin territory – that offers resources, events, social and educational programming. Our work celebrates, supports, and prioritizes oppressed sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions.

Queer Trans Youth (in-person)

Registration required. Age restricted: 17 – 24. Please mask as much as possible and stay home if you don’t feel well.

 

Queer Trans Youth is a structured discussion and social group for older teens and young adults ages 17-24; who are adjusting to adulthood as a young 2SLGBTQIA+ person. This group takes place every Second Monday of the Month from 6-9PM.

20 Something Group (in-person)

The 20 Something Meet-Up, is a blend of hang-out and discussion groups for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks who are ages 19-29 every month on the second and fourth Tuesday. Register here.

Undercuts is a haircut program, partnered with Hair Junkie, to provide free haircuts to community members monthly. It is a first come, first serve program. Follow us on Instagram to find out when Undercuts will be happening again!

Every second Friday,  a diverse and dynamic group of youth meet at Kind for an evening of low-pressure hanging out. Join other youth for game nights, art making, snacks or just to chill and check in with friends. Register here.

Ace/Aro Space (in-person)

Join us for thoughtful discussions and recreational activities centering Ace/Aro folks in the Ottawa Community every 1st Thursday of the month at 7PM!; and the 3rd Saturday of each month at 2PM! This in-person group is open to anyone who identifies under the asexual or aromantic umbrellas (including grey, demi, quoi, alloaro, etc). Register here.
