Kind: Connect

Kind: Connect is a new initiative to bring access, programming, and digital content closer to you. From being able to submit your best self care tactics, to finding spaces with people who share your values, to having workshops that are defined by care, Kind is overhauling how space and community are accessed and connected through various initiatives.  In our first phase, we are introducing a multifaceted projects through Recipes of Care. You can expect content to give you tips for surviving the winter, guiding you to supports within Ottawa, and media content straight to your phone/computer. We will be creating content in ensure that a Kind Connection is a step away.

Thrive: Trauma Education & Empowerment Program

A trauma education program for 2SLGBTQ+ people focusing on building skills while offering support in a closed group environment led by a facilitator (or multiple facilitators) who can go through the exercises and have lived experience. A Kind Space program would specifically focus on experiences of gender and sexuality, and how they intersect with trauma.
