Sloane, Director

Sloane is committed to authentic, intersectional work and understandings of the relationships between anti-oppression, anti-racism, anti-Islamophobia, disability justice, decolonial mindset and action, queer and trans justice, consent culture, border imperialism and violence, geopolitics, political economy, anti-neoliberal capitalism – the list is endless!

Sloane has a deep love for education, policy, and grassroots organizing related to healthy relationships, sexual and reproductive health, sexual violence, and queer-positivity.

Before focusing their attention on Kind, Sloane has worked with various agencies including Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity, Youth Services Bureau, and Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women.
